MBA graduate in Operations Management from Bits Pilani and BE Mech from Mumbai university. Having 7+ experience in field of Operation/ Quality / SCM- Sourcing.In my career i had got opportunity to work with different verticals of quality such as incoming quality, Supplier quality and plant quality and now working in SCM - New Part development Sourcing.I have started my career in essential department - Quality. After serving quality for 5+ years in Portescap (Altra Business Group Company), shifted to NPD- Sourcing as Sourcing Engineer in Portescap only. I got this opportunity due to my Interpersonal skills. While working in Quality i am well verse with several Systemic Quality improvement tools. have hands on knowledge of measuring equipments such as CMM, Vision measuring system, Profile projector, Gear Roll tester along with the conventional measuring instruments.Commodities handled:Sheet metal, Casting, Machined, Plastic, Sintered, Electronics, Magnets, PCB assy, Magnet wires.In recent ongoing assignment as Sourcing Engineer, Currently handling 30+ supplier with crucial commodities like gears, stamping, machined components etc.
