Hello, I am Rohit Dey, an EFL teacher and English language assessor with a passion for ed-tech. With a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Calcutta, I possess a deep understanding of literature and its nuances. I have successfully mentored kids from the UK, USA, and Canada, and aspire to achieve more milestones in the academic domain.Alongside my current roles, I have pursued my international diploma in TESOL/TEFL with a specialization in Business English from ACT.I have completed my graduation and master\'s in English Language and Literature from the University of Calcutta, securing the 9th position in graduation with a 67.55 score and achieving another first class in my master\'s degree. With over five years of experience in this field, I have explored various tenets of literature and am always eager to learn more.Currently, I am working as an English language assessor at Trivium where I need to evaluate dissertation papers and college student responses to open-ended questions in a reliable manner following client-supplied scoring rubrics. I have to efficiently incorporate training and customer scoring guidelines Grading Essays/Papers/topics provided as per guidelines.I worked as the PGT English Teacher and Academic Coordinator at Mother Mary Public School. My responsibilities included overseeing academic programs and conducting teacher training and development. I am also an English Language Instructor at AceFluency, where I tailor instruction to individual needs and use technology to enhance the learning experience.Previously, I worked as a Public Speaking and Creative Writing Expert at PlanetSpark, where I helped students develop the skills needed to become confident and effective public speakers. I also implemented a comprehensive public speaking curriculum and helped students hone their creative writing skills.I have been an active member of the Intercultural Poetry and Performance Library for quite a while now. I am passionate about writing and reading poetry at events.
