About Rohit Dasanoor
Hello, my name is Rohit Dasanoor, and I am in the class of 2026 in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. I am in Artificial Intelligence with a concentration in Machine Learning, and I possess a keen interest in all aspects related to these fields.I have a lot of experience in programming, as I have taken many rigorous courses and participated in numerous projects that require intricate coding knowledge. I have worked with Python, Java, Javascript, and many other languages through my work on path planners and SASyLF (a programming language used as a proof assistant).I also have a strong background in math competitions, doing well in national competitions such as the Putnam and AIME. I was a TrigStar and Mathleague.org national champion, along with placing in the top 1% nationally in the AMC competition. I am also a three-time gold medalist at Mathcon nationals and placed second nationally in Math Madness.My work at Expii and Carnegie Mellon Racing has introduced me to many collaborative work spaces, enabling me to work well with others and on group projects. I have experience with version control systems such as Git and Github, which has developed through my research projects and internships.I look forward to new opportunities and to expand upon my passion in the fields of artificial intelligence and computer science.
