Currently serving as the In-Charge for setting up a fully functional Microbiology Laboratory along with Upstream and Downstream Process Development Facilities focused on enzyme and antibiotic production. My key responsibilities include: • Establishing and validating microbiology lab infrastructure, including aseptic zones, media preparation, inoculum development, and microbial strain maintenance. • Overseeing the installation and commissioning of 1.5 KL fermenters for commercial-scale fermentation. • Designing and optimizing upstream fermentation processes for enzyme and antibiotic products. • Developing and streamlining downstream purification protocols to maximize product recovery and quality. • Coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA/QC, and production for seamless technology integration. • Ensuring regulatory compliance, SOP implementation, and documentation readiness for audits and scale-up.This role has enhanced my expertise in bioprocess development, scale-up strategies, and GMP facility setup, driving innovation and efficiency in industrial biotechnology.
