ABOUT ROHIT ANAND

Rohit Anand is a serial Technology Entrepreneur, a business builder, an active Angel investor and Mentor. In 2008, after a stellar corporate career across global pharma with Ranbaxy, Amgen, Sanofi and Biogen, Rohit founded Value Edge, a data analytics technology services company in the life sciences. He bootstrapped the company ground up to eventually exit to a NYSE listed company, WNS in June 2016 for USD20M. Rohit is incredibly proud of the Value Edge journey: In a few years Value Edge became India\'s largest Data analytics technology solutions provider to the life sciences industry with an outstanding team of 150+ with offices in Boston, Frankfurt and Zug and a roster of blue chip clients across Europe and the US. Most of all he is proud of the team and the culture built around fairness, transparency and trust. Rohit is cofounder at the technology company, 1digitalstack.ai whose mission is to drive brand growth on ecommerce platforms using Technology and Data-science. The core thesis of 1digitalstack is that winners in ecommerce are those brands that can use Data science and Technology to drive brand RoI. The company is already working with some of the worlds largest enterprise clients in powering their growth across e-commerce channels including Unilever, HP, Philips, BAT, Glanbia Nutrition and several others. He is also a founder investor and advisor to Zingavita, a Vitamins and Supplements business whose vision is to become India\'s most loved VMHS brand across families by providing the highest quality product at affordable prices and building trust and love with his customers. Rohit volunteers his time to teach an elective in the entrepreneurship area at Ashoka University focused on building a Technology Product company based on his experiences of building Value Edge and now 1DS. He is an active Angel investor - backing strong entrepreneurs who have demonstrated the grit and drive to build a well differentiated products with clear moats and big ambitions to win big in large markets. Notable angel investments include Blue Tokai coffee, Neeman shoes, Wizikey, Zapscale, Zyla Health, Virohan, Plansys and Boldcare. Rohit is an MBA from INSEAD, France and has a management education from IMT, India and has read Economics at Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
