Calcutta-born and London-based, I am a cultural researcher and strategist specialising in Asia-Pacific identity, craft heritage and the evolution of global luxury. Over the past two decades, I have explored how social change, diaspora identity and economic transformation shape contemporary consumer culture across Asia. My work brings together cultural history, visual culture and market insight, examining how ideas of craft, heritage and national identity are reinterpreted in modern luxury and design.Alongside my professional work, I have a growing interest in the archival side of Asian cultural production, particularly the role of Indian craft traditions in shaping global luxury aesthetics and trade. My current research looks at how these histories are being rediscovered and revalued as cultural confidence grows across Asia and within the global Indian diaspora.
