ABOUT ROHINI ROY

With 10+ years of experience driving gender transformation and life skills education, I am committed to empowering adolescent girls by equipping them with essential negotiation skills to make informed and impactful decisions in their lives. I have had the privilege of designing and leading programs that not only provide critical life skills but also foster confidence, resilience, and agency among young girls, enabling them to shape their own futures. As a Program Manager at Aspirational Bharat Collaborative, I spearhead Panchayat-led interventions aimed at transforming local governance and empowering female leaders at the grassroots level. By leveraging the influence of local governments, we are creating sustainable change and building a pipeline of women leaders who can make a tangible impact on their communities. Additionally, I am honored to be a fellow of the Chingaari Fellowship Program, organized by the International Centre for Research on Women and Global Women’s Health. This opportunity has allowed me to engage deeply with global gender issues and enhance my work in advocating for women’s health and rights, while driving forward systemic change. My work is driven by a passion for empowering women and creating transformative social change, and I am dedicated to advancing gender equality in every sphere of society.
