About Rohini Kalyankar
Rohini Kalyankar is a law academic and researcher specialized in Constitutional and Administrative Law, currently a visiting faculty of Law at KLE College of Law, Navi Mumbai. She holds an LL.M. from Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, a BLS LL.B, a Diploma in Cyber Laws from Government Law College, Mumbai (in collaboration with the Asian School of Cyber Laws), and is MH-SET (Law) qualified.She has served as an Assistant Professor of Law at Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel, where she also held responsibilities as Program Officer for the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Professor-in-Charge of the ST/SC Cell. Before this, she worked as a Research Assistant (Law) at MNLU Mumbai, coordinating academic centers including the Centre for Mediation & Research (CMR) and the Centre for Applied Research in Public Health Law, Rights & Policy (CPHL). Her teaching portfolio includes Constitutional Law, Election Law, Centre-State Relations, Law & Medicine, Environmental Law, and Health Laws. She has published book chapters on judicial independence and international human rights frameworks, and her research has been presented at national and international conferences, earning the First Best Paper Presentation Award at a constitutional law conference hosted by Hidayatullah National Law University.A certified PoSH Trainer with training in mediation, legislative drafting, and AI-enabled legal research, Rohini actively engages in academic mentorship, moot court judging, and interdisciplinary legal scholarship, with a focus on governance, gender justice, constitutional values, and access to justice.
