When I started my undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering, my ultimate goal was to get into the Automotive Industry. Having done numerous courses in Manufacturing, Fluid Dynamics, Battery Technology etc, I found my interest in design.As an Optical design Engineer, I take on challenging problems that occur in automotive exterior lighting and provide optical design solutions using software tools like CATIA V5 and LUCIDSHAPE. The best part of my job is physically testing lamps using a goniometer, carry out luminance camera evaluations and performing kaizen bench marking activities. As a team, our vision is to dramatically improve roadway safety by developing innovative lighting technologies that enhance driver vision and response time. After a hard day\'s of work, I love to play my guitar, go for a small hike, hang around with good company and countdown the days until Friday.
