About Rohan Devikoppa Shreedhara
I build and defend systems.Cybersecurity is, for me, equal parts engineering discipline and live-fire problem solving — and the happiest moments of my career so far have all been at that intersection.I\'m a Master of Science in Computer Science candidate at Florida Atlantic University (GPA 3.925/4.0), graduating in May 2026. Over the last two years I\'ve worked across the full blue-team spectrum: building Python automation for SOC triage at Isecurion, defending live enterprise environments at the SECCDC Regional Finals, architecting a Cowrie-based deception platform on edge hardware with an AWS + Claude / Amazon Bedrock backend, and contributing to a DoD-sponsored haptic-feedback research program as lead software developer. What I bring to a security team:• Incident response & SOC operations — Python automation that cut manual triage time by 35%, log forensics in Splunk/ELK, SIEM content tuning, and MTTD reduction.• Cloud-native security on AWS — IAM, CloudTrail, S3, Lambda, VPC, and Zero Trust patterns, with hands-on deployment experience on Bedrock-backed security tooling.• Offensive fundamentals to sharpen defense — Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Ghidra, binary exploitation, and CTF competition experience.• Secure engineering — OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, NIST CSF and MITRE ATT & CK mapping, secure SDLC, and compliance-aware documentation.Beyond the tooling, I care about research. I\'m a published author in AI-driven medical imaging (CT-scan misdiagnosis reduction) and a recent finalist at the FAU Data Hackathon, where our team built a bias-aware predictive model on the NIH All of Us dataset.I\'m currently open to full-time new-grad and early-career roles starting Summer 2026 — Security Engineer, SOC Analyst, Detection Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, or Security Automation Engineer positions. If you\'re building something that protects real users, I\'d love to hear about it. r••••••••@gmail.com github.com/RohanDS2024 Boca Raton, FL — open to relocation
