ABOUT ROHAN KAPOOR

Proven leader with history of driving financial results in Finance, Operations, Data and Risk leadership positions. Strong passion for growing and expanding products and businesses through in-depth data analytics and key metrics with a focus on planning, accountability and rigorous execution. Currently, I am the Head of Data Governance and Reporting for the Capital Markets business at Bain Capital, which spans across Credit, Special Situations and Public Equity strategies. I have built the Data Governance and Reporting functions from the ground up, aligning people and technology to improve data quality and oversight, as well as automated data flow across systems that feed internal and client (LP) reports. I also spent 2+ years as the Global Head of Operations for Capital Markets, overseeing 50+ team members globally in Investment and Trade Operations.Prior to Bain Capital, I spent 6 years at State Street Bank where I was the CFO of Institutional Services, which is the firm\'s core revenue generating business that services $40+ trillion in Assets Under Custody/Administration (AUCA) and generates $8 billion annual Revenue with employees. At State Street, I also worked directly for the CFO of the firm as the Co-Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP & A) with 100+ employees in my global organization. In this capacity, I was the Head of Global Pricing, Client Profitability, Share of Wallet & Market Share Analytics, Fund Asset Reporting, Cash Analytics, Return on Capital and Funds Transfer Pricing.Further back in my career, I held various leadership roles across Finance and Risk Management during my 8 year tenure at JPMorgan Chase in New York. My core skill-sets extend across traditional Corporate Finance areas (financial planning / budgeting, risk appetite, earnings prep, balance sheet & capital management) as well as broader analytical areas such as client pricing strategy, client / market segmentation, wallet share analytics and strategic investment planning.
