About Rohan Jahagirdar
A Data/Software/AI professional with experience in building production-grade applications and data engineering pipelines, with extensive leadership experience in delivering Healthcare AI and EHR based applications and products. I have previously worked on engineering mobile applications, wearables and low-power technologies, spatial GIS software, backend architecture, data engineering pipelines¸ tooling, infrastructure plumbing, and data analysis.I I currently work as part of the Engineering team at Prenuvo, leading the health data engineering efforts for the Apps & Growth team. I joined Prenuvo from Iterative Health where I led the annotations team.I was an early engineer and worked as Software Engineering Lead for the AI team at doc.ai (later Sharecare AI), a health research startup, that was acquired by Sharecare. There, I led the technical development of several innovative products, such as an LLM-enabled travel and lifestyle assistant using GPT3, Hugging Face tooling, and Vector Data Search across internal artifacts and external resources. I led the development, architecture, and deployment of the model in production. While at Sharecare AI, I was also the Head of AI/Data Engineering and led the technical development of our Advocacy product from early 2021 through 2022, where my responsibilities included heading the product\'s tech development from client discussions to the production-ready stage in a rigorous time-sensitive development cycle.Pre-acquisition, as part of the AI data engineering and bioinformatics team at doc.ai, I designed HIPAA-compliant ML models, ETL pipelines and architecture, data schemas for PHI data, scalable API endpoints, and backend software and infrastructure. I also developed importers for different kinds of health data for doc.ai\'s mobile applications and backend to model health data to industry standards of security and scalability.I was an early member of the Engineering team at 135 Tech Labs where I joined as a Software Engineer and led the engineering efforts for our Recommendation Systems, Mobile Applications (Android and iOS development), Data Engineering, and Backend Development and progressed to be the Tech Lead responsible for delivering technical solutions. Our achievements include onboarding India\'s largest commercial music streaming service on our platform effortlessly scaling our backend and data processing by with no system breakdowns.
