ABOUT ROHAN CHHIBBA

I am a passionate and creative Software developer, have worked as an Engineer ll at Aristocrat, a leading provider of gaming solutions. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, with a focus on Software Development and Machine Learning.At Aristocrat, I have developed slot machine games for mobile devices using Javascript, PHP, and Cocos-2dx game engine, reaching around 1 million users worldwide. I have utilized Bluebird and JS promises to choreograph game animations, designed Finite State Machines to maneuver game states, and deployed games on Docker. I have also performed successful Proof of Concept for a front end task for a game called “Mine Kart Kaboom”, reducing the total development time by 30 days, and led the development for the game with the most number of features ever by the studio, called ‘Winterland’. Additionally, I have applied my research skills and knowledge of GPS, GNSS, and NavIC navigation technologies, which I gained from my undergraduate thesis and internships, to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the game location services. I am motivated by the challenge of creating engaging and immersive gaming experiences for diverse audiences, and I aspire to become a leader and innovator in the gaming industry. I believe I can bring my technical skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to the team, and contribute to the success of the organization.
