Woking, GB

I am so excited to become a STEM Ambassador and inspire the next generations towards careers in science, technology and engineering. I am presently working for BD, a global medical product manufacturer, but have a background in Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Diagnostics and Engineering, including a variety of roles such as Research, Process Development, New Product Introduction, Operations Management, Sales & Marketing and Executive Management. I have a degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Portsmouth and a PhD in Textiles and Dyestuff Chemistry from UMIST, where I was developing novel water repellency processes as part of an MOD project into 21st Century army clothing. Throughout my career I have always tried to help others achieve their goals, by inspiring, mentoring and coaching them, and as a STEM Ambassador I can now inspire and support a wider range of people to achieve their goals too.
