I use narrative, depth-based, relational therapy to connect deeply and empathically with clients. I\'m told I am warm, sensitive, caring, and accepting in session, with an infectious sense of humor. And I don’t hesitate to kindly and respectfully challenge clients to hold themselves accountable. While I work effectively with all genders, I\'ve developed a knack for counseling and mentoring men using male-specific approaches that confront unhealthy stereotypes of masculinity. I enjoy working with high-performing individuals in business, sports, and the arts. I also have a keen interest in the dynamics of relational units, particularly parent-adolescent/adult-child relationships. Additionally, I\'m enthusiastic about the transformational power of group therapy and as such, design and facilitate group counseling cohorts at Skylight. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University with a certification in Trauma.
