I bring a diverse background to the Business world. Having spent a portion of my career in Public service combined with varying levels of Manufacturing Leadership bring a unique approach to Leadership and Problem Solving to the table. In every position I have ever had I try to seize the opportunity to continually improve to gain a competitive advantage in the market. I have been active in many organizations and task force operations during my career including the Law Enforcement Intelligence Network, Midwest Gang Investigators, Iowa Sex Crimes Investigators Association, safety committees, capital project teams, as well as emergency planning and response groups. Recipient of an Award Commendation from Governor Chet Culver for line of duty actions above and beyond the call of duty in April of 20••••••••18 established my knowledge base in food manufacturing operations leading teams as large as 50 hourly team members covering all Areas of responsibility on the off shifts. Transitioned to transportation in September 2018 taking on a new opportunity within my company. Bringing outside the box thinking and cross functional ideation to the table to address the challenges faced in the Transportation world. Dotted line supervisor over plant shipping department.2019 assumed Logistics Manager responsibilities within the plant while maintaining a primary focus on Transportation. Active member in Plant Safety, Continuous Improvement, Steering committees throughout the plant. Cross functional approach and outside the box thinking has driven the overall effectiveness of the team, its members, and facility. Lead implementation of SAP as WMS and TMS for site. Improved inventory accuracy to >95%.11/2021 I have assumed the role of Parts Manager for Thompson Truck and Trailer. Within first 90 raised sales over 30% and achieved overall sales targets for first time since Covid Pandemic.
