Key Responsibilities1. Reporting- Draft daily and weekly reports on Protection of Civilians (PoC)-related developments, including conflict dynamics and security threats- Prepare comprehensive Field Office Juba Monthly PoC reports summarizing trends, challenges, and recommendations for action.2. Field Missions- Participate in field missions to gather firsthand information on PoC threats, early warning indicators, and community needs- Focal point for Juba IDP sites 1, 3 and Mangateen. Assess and monitor the security and PoC related concerns at these sites on a daily basis- Conduct assessments and engage with local communities, authorities, and partners to inform appropriate responses.3. Early Warning and Response- Collect and analyze early warning information on potential threats to civilians, ensuring timely reporting and response- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.4. Representation and Meetings- In the absence of the Team Leader or OIC, represent in key meetings, including SMM and other coordination forums- Participate in meetings with humanitarian and government partners to advocate for PoC priorities 5. Coordination and Facilitation- Organize and facilitate Field Office Juba Monthly PoC report meetings, ensuring timely preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes- Act as the note-taker during meetings, documenting key discussions, decisions, and action points.6. Capacity Building- Draft concept notes for workshops and training sessions on PoC-related topics- Conduct training sessions for local stakeholders, including community leaders, and government authorities, to enhance their capacity in PoC and conflict resolution.7. Additional Tasks- Perform any other duties as required to support the effective implementation of PoC activities.
