Drive the modernization of 9 operating administrations’ IT departments into a single enterprise model as part of a five-year strategic initiative, DestinationsDIGITAL• Analyzed finance and operating plans, budget execution plans, and identified opportunities for ELAs/BPAs, prioritized and began consolidation of over $30 million in legacy maintenance contracts• Developed data models to measure the impact of projects, plan for future workforce needs, and develop mission-centric delivery models of IT services for the Department of Transportation• Convened stakeholders to gather mission-specific requirements, develop strategic goals, align priorities and expectations, set implementation schedules, and report on ongoing projects• Developed a plan with stakeholders to consolidate the ownership of capital assets to the Working Capital Fund, aligning those plans with operations and maintenance contracts, staffing contracts, and the life-cycle of existing assets and systems• Briefed OCIO management and clients on new Executive Orders, reporting requirements, recommendations and standards from GAO, OMB, NIST, and other entities• Drafted communications to operating administrations’ IT personnel and the finance community on core infrastructure standards, enterprise-unified processes for commodity IT services
