About Roger McCorkle
I have been involved in the Drilling Industry since 1980. My primary focus has been the design and application of various products such as winches, hoists, cranes, compressors and air/nitrogen treatment equipment on land and offshore drilling rigs. I have had the privilege of working with the engineers and designers that have shaped the air winch and air chain hoist industry over the last four decades and still am amazed at how many new applications and different challenges arise when using these tried and true products on older generation and modern rigs alike. As the Manager of RAM Winch & Hoist Ltd.\'s Drilling Product Group, I supplement our core material handling products with various specialty air & nitrogen compression and gas treatment products specifically intended for use on either land or offshore drilling rigs.
