About Roger Lyn
As a first-year MBA candidate at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, I am passionate about the intersection of finance and sustainability, particularly within mergers and acquisitions. This summer, I’m deepening that passion through hands-on work at the crossroads of financial strategy and responsible investment. Prior to Johnson, I worked as an Asset-Based Lending Associate in New York City, where I specialized in structuring and underwriting Asset-Based Facilities for private equity and corporate clients across diverse industries. I supported clients’ capital needs for both organic growth and strategic transactions. I earned my B.B.A. in Finance from Howard University’s School of Business in May 2021. While at Howard, I proudly served as the Men’s Tennis Team captain for three years and held multiple ambassador roles for early-stage startups. I’m driven by a commitment to financial literacy, mentorship, and community service, with a long-term goal of combining these pillars to foster sustainable impact in underrepresented communities.
