ABOUT ROGER D. LEGER

I have 43 years of oilfield experience which includes 31 years in a Supervisory Role, I started in the industry at the roustabout position and worked my way up through the ranks to OIM/Rig manager/ company man, drilling superintendent and Drilling Manager. I have worked on various design type drilling units, land work, inland waters, water depths ranging from shelf wells, platforms, Jack ups to Ultra-Deepwater of 8,800 feet. I have strong leadership skills and a proven record of positive safety performance and ability to convey this to rig crews or head office. Detailed planning and development drilling programs into an operational procedure the rig & office understands. I have worked in both foreign and domestic operations including, Australia-Indian Ocean and Timor Sea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia South China Sea, Brazil, South Atlantic Ocean, United Kingdom Dammam/East Saudi dessert, The US land, basin, shelf and Deepwater, GOM, Mediterranean Sea and Ankara office base Turkey. My work is very much a big part of my life, it would not be a fair statement to say I don’t work for the money but just as much I work because I like to work.
