BBL Construction has given me an amazing work experience & has taught me a lot of the fundamentals for Design-Build Construction. From day one, I was diving into Architectural drawings looking at Floor Plans, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, & trying to take in as much information possible. Then testing out a new estimating software and writing down any flaws that I saw. This information that I gathered would later be brought back up in a meeting with the software owners & design team. A lot of the work I was doing was in the pre construction phase of the job, which included; Writing up scopes of work for subcontractors, attending job-site meetings, & reading over submittals. Another big thing was sending out emails or calls to subcontractors about product data or Insurance Certificate\'s that they had to submit to us. I was able to develop many relationships with them in the process. I was also lucky enough to see the steel erection & all the working pieces of a project at a new High School in Albany. This has been a great experience and a lot if it is a huge thanks to the Medical team that I was surrounded by that were always welcome to help with anything. Especially Project Manager Frank Schwab & Executive Project Manager Kevin Moore, they both were great role models and weren\'t afraid to send me off on my own to just figure things out. They both made this a great learning opportunity for me.
