About Jj Rodriguez
As graduate of Loyola University with a major in Film and Digital Media, my journey in visual storytelling began at 17 when I picked up my first camera capturing anything from weddings to everyday adventures. This early start fostered an eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning narratives. My love for storytelling pushed me to experiment with different mediums, always looking for new ways to bring a story to life. Outside of filmmaking, I love anything that keeps me on my toes, literally and creatively. As a DJ at WLUW, I had the wonderful opportunity to do exclusive interviews with various musicians/bands live on air! Listeners were treated to a special mini-concert as the bands performed acoustic versions of their set live in the studio and also had the opportunity to call in and ask questions, making for a truly unique and interactive experience! Beyond my usual work behind a camera, you can find me on stage doing improv comedy!
