WORK HISTORY
Software Engineer, Photographer, Artist @Rod.Dev
Vancouver, CA
During my thirteen-year tenure as a consultant, I have had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of frontend, backend, and CI/CD engineering projects. My roles involved close collaboration with executive, management, and development teams to contribute to the creation of new technical innovations and development strategies. My experience includes working with server-side programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Java, and PHP for business logic; MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for efficient data management; and implementing industry-standard code using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript by integrating various frontend templating engines, CSS preprocessors, and Javascript/TypeScript compilers in client-side applications like Vue.js, React, Next.js, Angular.js, Backbone, and Knockout.js. I have managed client-side data using technologies such as GraphQL, REST, and gRPC, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. My exposure to CI/CD flows has led me to work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon’s EC2. In terms of E2E and unit testing, tools like Jasmine, Jest, and Mocha have been invaluable in my work. Most recently I’ve had a chance to work extensively with Pytorch, Transformers, Diffusers and Tokenizers when it comes to state-of-the-art machine learning projects in natural language processing, computer vision, audio and multimodal modalities.
