In charge of the Rivets, Packing, O-rings, Seals, Rings and other aerospace fastener commodities package deals negotiations with major manufacturers to drive productivity and achieve cost reduction goals and milestones• Quoting and procurement of materials and component supplies at favorable cost consistent with quality and schedules• Develop and Negotiate Long Term Contracts/Agreements with Manufacturers• Supported the Symphony program, which achieved leaner inventory levels, reduced cost for shipping transactions, and reduced amount of in-house quality inspections and operations• Analyzed customer FSL (Forward Stocking Location) warehouse inventory levels, to insure healthy pipelines that in turn would achieve same day delivery availability to the customer base• Procurement of inventory and global stock levels to ensure customer requirements are met• Respond to requests from sales to shop for non-stocked items or locate them in Cardex• Maintain the workload queue• Evaluate the bid for parts; determine sources of the parts, where and how many of the part numbers to purchase• Communications with suppliers and internal customers• Analyze inventory needs to ensure timely delivery of material from suppliers
