Drives operational efficiencies through transportation and logistics, including the management of all aspects related to shipping of all products- Manage all freight/logistics activities, to ensure customers\' requirements and check if timelines are met making sure carriers/freight forwarders meet our quality and sustainability requirements- Coordinate with internal departments on all activities related to shipping product maintaining booking and loading dates updated in the calendar according to Canadian Food Inspection Agency timelines- Maintains records of actual departure, arrival dates, transit times, including Proof of Delivery for truck deliveries- Responsible to analyse carrier/freight forwarder performance according to our Transportation Service Requirements- Monitor production and releasing dates of each order to ensure that orders will be ready to load on the required ship date- Coordinate inventory transfers to external/customer warehouses- Find the best fit on transportation services to Vitalus and our Customers needs, and onboard/develop new carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, following the Carrier Evaluation Procedures- In charge of managing all carriers, freight forwarders services, negotiating, contracting, and maintaining current freight rates and service agreements in coordination with Procurement- Collect data and identifies opportunities to reduce cost of transportation by selecting the most effective transportation mode, carrier selection and shipping policies as well as maintain freight budget as per stipulated by the Top Management- Enforces the Food Safety Transportation Policy- Ensures that all transportation service records are regularly updated and available for audits- Streamline, document and implement Logistics procedures and processes (SOP\'s)- Track and manage all customer logistics complaints and work with the carrier to identify the root cause and set an action plan to mitigate future events;
