Perform advanced contract management work. Coordinate, develop, and evaluate a wide range of contracts for the Facilities Management and Operations Division (FMO) to maintain and support 75+ state-owned facilities including office buildings, parking facilities, medical labs, warehouse space.•Oversee contracts development by identifying provider resources, describing services to be rendered, evaluating information supplied by TFC program areas and bidders, and assisting with negotiating contract specifications.•Assist in the development of contract administration policies and procedures. With TFC program areas, monitor contract performance by examining fiscal data, and eligibility determinations for compliance with contract terms and recommend cancellation of contracts when breaches occur.•Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to contracting. Manage billing processes and eligibility monitoring functions for outside counsel contracts.•Develop contract renewal and amendment language and review specifications by TFC programs for solicitations.•Provide leadership guidance on contract administration, policies, and procedures. •Prepare necessary reports for staff and outside agencies and maintain the TFC Contract Database. Assist in the development of a framework for document retention for physical and electronic files.•Plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Assist in implementing division goals, objectives, and division leadership in developing and/or approving schedules, priorities, and standards. Works under minimal direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.•Monitor legal and regulatory requirements related to state of Texas contracting and purchasing best practices and regulations.
