Body Control • Work closely with automotive manufacturers and other stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the ECU.• Ensure that the ECU\'s design meets industry standards, such as ISO 26262 for functional safety, and other compliance needs. • Support the ECU’s architecture team, including hardware and software integration. Ensure that components (sensors, actuators, communication interfaces) are compatible and work seamlessly together. •Guide teams of software, hardware, and system engineers. Delegate tasks, set deadlines, and ensure that different subsystems align with the overall project goals. • Ensure that the project stays within scope and time.• Identify potential risks, including technical challenges, regulatory issues, and supply chain problems, and mitigate them accordingly. • Ensure thorough documentation of the ECU’s architecture, design, and testing procedures.• Support to generate reports for regulatory compliance, such as safety-critical software certification or emissions regulations.• Report on project progress to senior management, customers, and stakeholders, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and technical decisions.• Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure smooth project execution.• Oversee the validation of the ECU, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and vehicle-level testing.• Lead efforts in diagnosing to fix technical issues in both the hardware and software components during integration and testing phases.• Ensure that development processes meet automotive standards such as ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) and AUTOSAR for software development.• Manage requirement changes from stakeholders during the project lifecycle and adjust the technical scope accordingly.
