ABOUT RODOLFO NUNES

As a DevOps Director at Euronet Worldwide, I lead and optimize the IT operations of more than 200 critical applications across multiple international locations. With nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry, I have developed a broad and well-rounded skill set spanning security, infrastructure, networking, automation, and technical leadership.I am responsible for the design, operation, and scalability of multiple Kubernetes clusters, managed through Rancher and deployed across multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP. I oversee both cloud-native and hybrid/on-prem platforms, leveraging Harvester where applicable. Working alongside my team, I lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices, using Terraform, FluxCD, and GitHub Actions to ensure consistent, reliable, and well-governed delivery across environments.From an observability and operations standpoint, I design and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies using Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana, enabling proactive detection, performance visibility, and rapid incident response. These platforms are integrated into day-to-day operations and on-call workflows through tools such as Opsgenie, while Jira and Confluence are used to drive execution, documentation, and continuous improvement.My mission is to ensure platform stability, enhance system reliability, and continuously improve user experience by conducting root cause analyses, designing and implementing robust IT processes, and adopting modern technologies. I also lead cultural and operational transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, accountability, and collaboration, while mentoring teams and working closely with directors on budgeting, capacity planning, and strategic alignment—contributing directly to the ongoing success of Euronet Worldwide.
