We started Next Intent in 1996; primarily serving the Semiconductor equipment industry. Our primary focus is now Aviation, Aerospace, Defense and Spacecraft components and sub-assemblies. We have had the pleasure of working with some of the best companies in the world: Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), CSA Engineering, Moog, Ball Aerospace, ATK Space, ATK Launch Systems, ATK Missile Systems, ITT Aerospace Controls. We built all the wheels, and most of the suspension components on the Mars Exploration Rovers for JPL. Next Intent built all the flight components for the James Webb Space Telescope actuators that allow adjustments to the radius of curvature of the mirrors. We have some of the best machinists in California working for us, along with some very talented support staff. John Wildharber (MS in Mech Engr), is our full-time Mechanical Engineer, who is a Solidworks Certified Professional. He is very talented, and performs design work for a number of our customers with manufacturability in mind at all times (since he hangs around with machinists all day). We have an excellent Quality Assurance department, headed by Frank Vettel, assisted by Brian Hallock, Desiree Kirkland and David Hanshey. Next Intent is a founding member of the AMS Group, a strategic alliance between Next Intent, CL Hann Industries in San Jose, CA. and Tapemation in Scotts Valley, CA. We offer our customers a wide range of services from GSE equipment, AWS certified welding of Steel, Aluminum, Stainless and Inconel. Machining capabilities up to 80\" dia. CNC turning to 240\" travel CNC milling.
