ABOUT RODNEY THOMPSON

As a Community Manager, I oversee the operations and performance of a student housing community in Murfreesboro, TN. My portfolio is predominantly student housing, ranging anywhere from 690+ beds down to my current property with just over 250+ beds. I have led a team of staff members, including leasing consultants, maintenance technicians, & leasing managers, in an effort to provide exceptional service and satisfaction to prospects - ultimately resulting in being Landmark’s 2023 Overall Conversion Rate property (>500) & 2 consecutive years of achieving 100% pre-leased before end of Q2. I have more than seven years of experience in leasing and management, along with more than 10 years of customer service. I have a B.A. in Organizational Communication from MTSU, which helps me communicate effectively and persuasively with diverse audiences and stakeholders. I also have a passion for social media marketing, which I leverage to create engaging and innovative campaigns to promote our community and attract new tenants. My goal is to expand my resume within the real estate industry, and to learn from the best in the field. I value teamwork, creativity, and excellence, and I strive to contribute to the success and growth of my company and my team. I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities, and to enhance my skills and knowledge.
