Main ResponsibilityUndertake infrastructure condition monitoring and other relevant data collection activities, in accordance with applicable standards and work instructions Identify, verify and record all infrastructure defects and faults presented by the on-train systems and report defects and faults to the nominated control centresRecord and report vehicle defects, system failures and other reasons for the non-collection of data in accordance with company proceduresManage the delivery of valid data, reporting when this has not been achievedSupport the review and monitoring of system functional performance, working with the Measurement Systems Maintenance team to develop and deliver remediation activities as requiredManage the calibration of monitoring and test equipment to defined standards and undertake functional checks, maintaining records on a daily basisSupport the validation, calibration, product acceptance and implementation of new and existing examination technologies, systems and vehicles as requiredMaintain an adequate supply of critical spares (and consumables) for measurement systems (in conjunction with the maintenance engineers)
