Law Enforcement Agency Administrator serving as Chief of Police where I manage 27 professional police officers; and a 1.5 M annual budget. Administer the School Based Police Department & Manage the Emergency Management and School Safety Program. Conduct investigations and network with school board, school administrators, and numerous stakeholders/customers to ensure Glynn County Schools, and related activities and buses are safe places for children and staff. I serve as an elected District Representative for the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police and serve as the Acting President of the Georgia K12 Police Chiefs Association and serve on the State Department of Education School Safety and Climate Advisory Board, and the Coastal Pines Technical College Criminal Justice program advisory board and the advisory board for the Lanier Technical College Marine Technology Program. From time to time, I consult for school districts nationwide on school public safety issues and network with Safe Havens International both paid in my off time from the GCS and pro-bono. I am frequently asked to opine cases by conducting post-incident reviews and review of K12 public safety operations and provide analysis of school safety efforts.
