I moved to the US from the Netherlands after being a portfolio manager at large firms and consistently outperforming the benchmark, but frustrated by process frameworks and bureaucracy that led to sub-optimal portfolio construction. I launched Night Watch Investment Management to seize the opportunity in global value, where research and fundamentals drive investment decisions, not corporate management.
