ABOUT RODDY MACLEAN
I am a highly experienced software test engineer with over 25 years’ worth of excellent experience in the software testing industry. I have expert knowledge gained from working in Automated and Manual Testing roles at Test Analyst, Test Lead and hand-on Test Management levels on high profile projects in a variety of organisations including a large media company, financial institutions (RBS, JP Morgan, Scottish Widows, FNZ and Scottish Life), public sector organisations and smaller software houses.My last 4 contracts have all been with Sky, covering a period from May 2014. All roles have been on different projects, each with their own unique challenges and skills needed. I have worked both onsite and remotely.I have vast experience of automated testing dating back to 1998.Educationally, I have a very strong IT and business background (B.Eng. and MBA degrees) which coupled with my wider technical experience and proactive problem-solving skills enables me to deliver in a wide array of situations even under high pressure.I am looking to join an organisation that shares my professional values where I will be a committed and effective team player within the organisation from day one.
