ABOUT ROD DENNIS

With a strong mix of international consultancy and in-house experience, I\'m a friendly, hard-working, and passionate PR and marketing communications professional.In my current role I’m the main conduit between the RAC and both media and major partners including INRIX and the Met Office, helping secure record levels of positive, high quality brand building earned coverage - as well as high-performing owned content. I’m a specialist in analysing data to tell stories to meet the brand’s objectives, routinely using data visualisation tools as part of my work.I’m a company spokesperson, leading on road safety issues and with regular experience giving effective national and regional interviews with major networks like the BBC, ITV and Sky News. I’m was also a founding member of the Motor Industry Communicators Association (MICA).Prior to my present role I planned and delivered successful communications projects for organisations in a wide variety of sectors but with a more recent focus on transport and mobility. I led on campaigns for organisations including National Grid, the UK Government’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Defra, Infineum, Microtecnica (now Collins Aerospace) and engineering consultancy Frazer-Nash.I pride myself on the quality of my communications work and my ability to develop excellent working relationships with people at all levels.
