ABOUT ROD OCONNOR
I spend most of my time helping people understand technology — not just how it works, but how to actually use it to make their business run better. My background spans consulting, IT leadership, accounting, entrepreneurship, and product strategy, but the common thread throughout my career has been teaching. Whether I’m working with customers, partners, or the broader community, I focus on translating complex systems, integrations, and data strategies into practical, usable knowledge. With a background in several industries and roles, I am able to easily translate complex concepts into terms everyone can understand. In my role as Principal Solution Architect at eOne Solutions, I regularly deliver product demonstrations, customer workshops, webinars, conference sessions, and technical training focused on integrations, automation, reporting, and modern data visibility. I work closely with organizations to understand their challenges, design solutions, and help their teams feel confident using the technology they already have.Recently, I’ve also been working with PopdockAI, a codeless MCP builder, where I’ve been exploring how AI skills, prompt optimization, and MCP design can be used in real world, AI powered business workflows. A big part of that work involves helping our partners understand what AI can realistically do today — and how to apply it without overcomplicating their systems.Over the years I’ve spoken at industry events, led partner and customer training sessions, created technical content, and contributed to the Microsoft Dynamics community as a speaker, writer, and educator. I enjoy helping teams move from “we have these systems” to “we are using these systems in the best way possible.”If you’re working on integrations, automation, reporting strategy, or helping your team get more value from your systems, I’m always happy to connect and share ideas.
