ABOUT ROCKY KEV

Hi. Tech nerd who enjoys web technologies to make cool things happen on the internet. Could be apps, could be websites, or could be those annoying tracking tools that follow you around and listen in on you so when you visit a specific page about running sneakers you suddenly get a facebook promo about it #sorrynotsorry I also do a lot of volunteering, educational development and hosting meetups. Because - I\'m inherently lazy and if I can teach someone else to do it, I can hire them in the future to do it for me. Past Experience:* Full-Stack Developer, Setting up databases and web technology, then making it pretty with React.* Course Technologist, building courses and e-learning for Mirasee, a business education company.* Online Marketing Manager at Helium Comedy Club, a chain of comedy clubs across the country.* Mobile developer, making really crappy mobile games.* Former Art Instructor at Mural Arts/Asian Arts Philadelphia, teaching K-12th.* Retired Pokemon master. Teaching and training is my passion. Marketing is what I\'m good at. And coding/development is my tribe. I\'ve front-end developed for years, building websites, integrations, bots, and mobile apps.(Did I just turn front-end develop into a verb? You darn right I did!) While most of my speaking events were around marketing or education - the past few years, I\'ve been doing more talks around programming. I\'ve volunteered at STEM-focused programs for young people, and meetups for everyone else. Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value- Albert Einstein
