Recently Stacey expanded her talents to include author and illustrator of her debut book, “Skinny Miss S. Was Very Depressed.”In the book Lane delivers an edgy, and at times comical, look into the struggles of diagnosing, treating and recovering from mental illness. She sheds light on the differences between true mental anguish and societal judgments upon creative persons who exhibit non-conventional ways of thinking.
