As an IT Support II, I support Amazon Operations technology by keeping critical systems, devices, and networks running for our fulfillment/operations teams. I provide hands-on technical support, act as a point of escalation for complex issues, and partner with operations to minimize downtime and improve site performance. Key responsibilities:• Provide second-level support for Windows and Linux workstations, thin clients, RF scanners, label/Zebra printers, handhelds, and other production devices. • Troubleshoot network issues (LAN/WLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP) and escalate to OpsTech/Network Engineering when needed. • Own incident and service request tickets from creation to resolution, meeting or exceeding SLA targets and documenting fixes clearly. • Deploy, image, and maintain IT hardware using Amazon-standard tools; help manage inventory and asset tracking for site equipment. • Support production-critical systems on the floor to reduce downtime and support safety, quality, and throughput goals. • Collaborate with operations leadership on small projects and site changes (new workstations, network drops, device rollouts, etc.). • Mentor and support junior technicians/IT Support I, sharing best practices and helping them troubleshoot more complex issues.
