About Rocio Wyers
UF political science graduate and future education advocate. My passion for civic engagement brought me to the University of Florida, where I finished my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During my senior of undergrad, I interned in the Office of the Education Commissioner, where I developed problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills. The most valuable lesson from my education and involvement are that passion and perseverance go far beyond intellect and skill. Over the next year, I hope to learn more about the K-12 public education system to understand what needs to be changed for the betterment of our educators, parents, and students.
