Responsible for leading a Division of approximately 50 talented employees dedicated to supporting the Department of Public Works and serving the community of San Mateo County. The Administrative Services and Airports Division includes; the management of a $234M operations budget with over 50 funds and a $52M Capital Program budget; provides Finance services and Performance Management; provides Human Resource Services and Payroll to more than 300 employees; supports a full range of IT functions from handling core IT to providing GIS support and building access control systems; provides Risk Management and safety training; and Administrative support functions. Responsibilities include the oversight of two general aviation airports, the San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports, and the development and implementation of an Airport Noise Management Plan in collaboration with the Board of Supervisors, local Representatives, the FAA, community leaders and residents, and the Airports’ Business and Pilots Associations.
