ABOUT ROCHA DOLLAR

I am a Sr. Project Specialist with experience in compliance, regulation, team dynamics, leadership and wild candor. I’m passionate about facilitating environments where people safely and candidly gravel. All work involves people,*great* work begins with respecting others. I am skilled at managing projects targeting continuous improvement, IT integration, and Program Management with experience in regulatory compliance, supplier engagement, engineering and healthcare. I have a unique perspective as a Public Health professional with certifications in Gemba Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, Project Management and Aging Services. DEI(J) can feel like the couture acronym du jour. To me, fostering a sense of truly belonging is personal. As a first-generation Asian American living with hidden disabilities, I’m wildly proud to be a part of these communities. My lived experiences, both personally and professionally, were my introduction to intersectionality. Our lived experiences and our identities make us all different, but we strive for the same things. Acceptance, belonging and a supportive environment. I took the combined knowledge from my roles and led teams, peers and external stakeholders in people-centered management. This means fostering an environment where everyone has a voice, where graveling/disagreement is celebrated and where radical candor thrives. I’ve been a Corporate Committee Chair on the Suzan G Komen Race for the Cure for 5-years and an active member in ERGs (LGBTQAI2S+, disabilities, Latine, Asian, Black, MENA (Middle East and Northern Africa), remote workers and allyship). Personally I enjoy staying connected and active in my local and international communities through a variety of volunteer programs including the Clark County Food Bank, Milwaukie Lion’s Club International, Clark County Parks & Rec, the SW WA Humane Society, Be My Eyes, APOPO and Soi Dog Rescue.
