About Rocco Testani
Rocco Testani is a partner in Eversheds Sutherland\'s litigation practice group and serves as the firm\'s General Counsel. Rocco previously served as co-leader of the global litigation practice group and is a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Over the past 30 years, he has tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts and in arbitral forums with successful outcomes for his clients. Rocco has a broad range of experience, including litigating “bet the company” business disputes and high profile public policy and government matters for governors, state legislatures and other officials. He has served as an outside general counsel for two large public school districts and as a special assistant attorney general. Rocco spends a good deal of his professional time working on civil justice reform. He was a leader in the establishment of the Georgia State-wide Business Court and chairs the amicus curiae committee of Georgians for Lawsuit Reform, which advocates for business interests in the State’s appellate courts. Rocco is also a frequent presenter on public education legal issues at the Program for Educational Policy and Governance at the Harvard Kennedy School.
