I manage and represent the high-volume academic and scientific offices of the MD/PhD, PhD, & the Masters of Clinical and Translational Research programs for Dr Betty Diamond at the following locations• Zucker School of Medicine (ZSOM)• Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research (FIMR)• Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL)As a point person for communication, events, and documentation for our programs I am a hub between the disparate worlds of medical research and medical education. Leveraging the often opposing deadlines, technologies and securities between the medical school and two laboratories I craft systems designed give access to our students to the files, forms and protocol they need to succeed in our programs including• Website creation: form access for dissertation defense, student work promotion, grant submission, transition to and from the laboratory, checklists for graduation, student surveys and more. • Alumni outreach• Communication with ZSOM enrollment to ensure student requirements are met.I have worked with Dr. Betty Diamond, Dr. David Bettinelli and the medical school to negotiate competitive support for our students like stipends and health insurance. I am the student liaison for FIMR/CSHL/ZSOM joint programming like Revisit Days for accepted students and New Student Orientation. I organize and facilitate events including Welcome Week Orientation Dinner, the Masters Luncheon, and the annual off-site MD/PhD Retreat. I am proficient with SharePoint, Outlook, PROQuest, EndNote, Ellucian Banner, Degree Works, Chrome River, 25LIVE, and the Google suite of programs.
