Robyn Pearson is the Senior Manager of Content and Community at We Are Social; a global socially-led creative agency with unrivaled social media and influencer marketing expertise. With a background in Commerce from Queen’s University and over 5 years as a QWBB Varsity athlete, she is working to cater sports marketing content to underserved audiences and communities.Through her work in sports marketing, Robyn has committed to equal coverage of men’s and women’s sports news and continues to bring attention to the most important equity issues in the sports industry. As a queer woman, Robyn works to increase visibility on issues facing queer, racialized, and marginalised athletes through an objective and fair lens. Her work places athletes at the centre and invites sports fans to consider the humans behind the game while remaining critical of the systems that potentially could inhibit their success. She continues to foster her love of the game of basketball by practicing with and mentoring TMU\'s women\'s basketball program. She currently resides in Toronto with her partner, dog Freddie, and cat Bruce.
