Works for the Centre for Enterprise and Economic Development Research (CEEDR) undertaking grant research (e.g. current ESRC funded Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP) project on green SME financing) and contract research for government departments and bodies. Grant funded work currently includes researching Green business finance for the ESRC CUSP initiative. Previous grant research has included reassessing productivity in relation to early-stage potential high growth innovation Cleantech SMEs (for the ESRC Productivity Insights Network) and examining the Financing of Technology Based Small Firms (TBSFs) after the global financial crisis for Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE).
