ABOUT ROBYN MADDOX

Robyn brings a combination of academic achievement, senior leadership experience, and deep sector knowledge to the continuing care industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Health Executive, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional excellence.Robyn has built a career within Alberta’s seniors health and continuing care system. She most recently served as Interim Chief Operating Officer for ALA, while maintaining her permanent portfolio as Senior Program Director, Strategy, Innovation and Transformation. Prior to these roles, she served as Senior Provincial Director of Provincial Seniors Health and Continuing Care and Executive Director for Seniors Health in the AHS North Zone, where she provided strategic and operational leadership across a broad and complex range of continuing care services.Her background extends beyond healthcare: Robyn also brings valuable experience from the dental, construction, and oil and gas sectors, enhancing her ability to lead large, multifaceted projects and collaborate across diverse operational environments.Throughout her career, Robyn has been recognized for her thoughtful leadership style, strong partnerships, and innovative approach to system improvement. She is deeply committed to creating lasting, positive impact within Alberta’s continuing care system. Robyn embraces creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement— and is excited to help advance ALA’s strategic priorities and supporting our patients, residents, clients and partners across the province.
