Work closely with the counseling department on all facets of CTE and college planning• Counsel students on post-high school education, scholarship applications, and career preparation• Oversee 30-50 interns each semester and monitor student progress and involvement at their intern sites• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods - Instructing students on workplace etiquette, workplace safety, teamwork, conflict resolution, networking, and job seeking skills• Plan and carry-out school-wide biannual career day events including 40+ speakers, 15+vendors and approximately students• Lead district PLC group of Business/Marketing/IT teachers working towards building curricular collaboration and encouraging best practices in teaching• Oversee concurrent enrollment (CE) program through UVU, Weber, USU, and SUU and assist over students and 26 faculty members in the registration process• Increased courses taken in CE by 122% and student participation by 66% over 6 years• Strengthened and increased teacher participation in CE by 144% over 6 years• Maintain all CTE equipment inventory and purchasing for multiple departments• Support and assist the CTE Director in all matters pertaining to the CTE Department
