About Robyn Cenizal

My personal mission statement is \"To greet each sunrise as an opportunity to make a difference.\" Over the years, I\'ve fulfilled that mission professionally through developing and managing major family-focused initiatives like the Jacksonville Network for Strengthening Families and the National Resource Center for Healthy Marriage and Families. I\'ve also learned that making a difference isn\'t always about a grand gesture. Sometimes it\'s as simple as a kind word to someone having a tough day or helping a social service organization problem-solve a service delivery challenge. Making a difference is really about having an attitude of service.I am currently a Director at Manhattan Strategy Group, managing the National Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Training and Technical Assistance Contract supporting 110 grantees around the country. The project includes individualized and group technical assistance efforts.Previously, I managed the National Fair Housing Training Academy (NFHTA) which provides training to practitioners working across the country to fight discriminatory housing practices. Additionally during my 12 years with ICF, I managed several federal initiatives that provide capacity building training and technical assistance to federal, state, local and Tribal government agencies as well as faith and community-based organizations to enhance their efforts to provide services to high-risk, low-resource and marginalized populations intended to empower families and enhance self-sufficiency. Prior to my federal level work in the family strengthening, re-entry, juvenile justice, healthy marriage and responsible fatherhood fields. I accrued over 26 years of local government experience specializing in community engagement, specifically in developing strategic public/private partnerships to mitigate community distress including broad expertise with family strengthening, child welfare, workforce development, violence prevention and poverty reduction. In addition to strong project management and technical assistance expertise, I have experience with program design and implementation specifically targeting distressed families such as those involved with child welfare and juvenile justice systems. I am also a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and have authored numerous publications on promising practices associated with serving high-risk, low-resource and marginalized populations. I\'m a Certified International Health Coach, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and member of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2020.
